Applebee’s Classic Wings Recipe

If You enjoy Classic Chicken Wings, You will LOVE making Applebee’s Classic Wings at Home with our Easy Recipe.

Ingredients
  • 36 - 40 Wings Pieces (Drummets and Planks)
  • 12 ounces Louisiana-Style Hot Sauce, of choice
  • 6 tablespoons Butter
  • 3 tablespoons White Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Flour
Instructions
  1. Cook wings using your own recipe or one of ours linked to above. Set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 250°F.
  3. Add hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic powder to a large saucepan.
  4. Place saucepan on stovetop and cook over low-medium heat. Stirring, bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and add flour, to the thicken sauce. Mix well and simmer, still stirring frequently, until sauce has thickened.
  6. When sauce is thick, remove from heat.
  7. Cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish with about 1/2 of the sauce.
  8. Toss wings into the rest of the sauce. Place in baking dish.
  9. Place in preheated oven. Bake for about 10 minutes or until wings are hot and sauce has cooked a bit.
  10. Serve with celery sticks and one or more dipping sauces.
  11. These are great reheated, but get hotter each time.
