Applebee’s Classic Wings Recipe
If You enjoy Classic Chicken Wings, You will LOVE making Applebee’s Classic Wings at Home with our Easy Recipe.
Ingredients- 36 - 40 Wings Pieces (Drummets and Planks)
- 12 ounces Louisiana-Style Hot Sauce, of choice
- 6 tablespoons Butter
- 3 tablespoons White Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Flour
- Cook wings using your own recipe or one of ours linked to above. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 250°F.
- Add hot sauce, butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne, garlic powder to a large saucepan.
- Place saucepan on stovetop and cook over low-medium heat. Stirring, bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and add flour, to the thicken sauce. Mix well and simmer, still stirring frequently, until sauce has thickened.
- When sauce is thick, remove from heat.
- Cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish with about 1/2 of the sauce.
- Toss wings into the rest of the sauce. Place in baking dish.
- Place in preheated oven. Bake for about 10 minutes or until wings are hot and sauce has cooked a bit.
- Serve with celery sticks and one or more dipping sauces.
- These are great reheated, but get hotter each time.
