Applebee's Walnut Blondie With Maple Butter Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts
  • 1/3 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • Maple Butter Sauce (Recipe in Box Below)
Instructions
  1. Prepare Applebee's Maple Butter Sauce according to the recipe below. Set aside and keep warm.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. In a small bowl, add sifted flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Sift again.
  4. Add chopped nuts. Mix well. Set aside.
  5. Melt butter and place into a medium bowl.
  6. Add brown sugar. Mix well.
  7. Add egg and vanilla extract. Blend well.
  8. Add reserved flour mixture, a little at a time, mixing well between each addition.
  9. Stir in white chocolate chips.
  10. Spread evenly in a 9-inch square pan.
  11. Bake, in preheated oven, for 20 to 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean or with slightly fudgy-looking crumbs.
  12. Serve with ice cream and Maple Butter Sauce.  
 
     
 

Applebee's Maple Butter Sauce Recipe



Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup real Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped Walnuts
Instructions
  1. To a small pot, add maple syrup, butter and brown sugar.
  2. Place over medium low heat.
  3. Warm, stirring constantly, until the butter and brown sugar have melted.
  4. Add walnuts.
  5. Pour into a serving dish and serve warm to cover Walnut Blondies.
