Olive Garden Capellini Pomodoro Recipe

If You enjoy Pasta at Olive Garden, You will LOVE making Olive Garden's Capellini Pomodoro at Home with this Straight from the Restaurant Recipe. Olive Garden's Capellini Pomodoro is a delicious combination of plum tomatoes, garlic and basil served over angel hair pasta.


Ingredients
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 pounds Plum Tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1 ounce fresh Basil Leaves, minced
  • 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 ounces Parmesan Cheese
  • 12 ounces dry Angel Hair Pasta, cooked
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil.
  2. Add garlic. Cook until it turns white.
  3. Add tomatoes and pepper. Heat through, stirring constantly, about 2 - 3 minutes. Tomatoes should not lose their shape. Remove from heat.
  4. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain.
  5. Transfer hot, cooked pasta to large bowl.
  6. Toss pasta gently with tomato mixture, basil and half of Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve immediately and pass remaining Parmesan around.
